As I’m sure you can see the new face of CreepColony is up and live! I’ve been working hard on this redesign and CMS upgrade for the last couple of weeks, so I hope you all enjoy it. Keep in mind that we still have a couple of pages to port over to the new CMS, but that we’re working to get it done. A couple of the features of the new CreepColony:
- Comments system on news posts
- Site search
- RSS Feed! Please subscribe to our feed if you use a feed reader.
- New design
- Stories archived by topic and date
There are also a ton of additional features on the administration side of the site that will allow us to take on a couple of staff members (to help with content generation and news posting) and just make the overall management of the site easier which means more frequent and meaty updates.
What we still have in the works:
- Upgrade ikonboard forum to vBulletin
- Implement new skin into vB
- Finish adding StarCraft 2 information to the main site
As I mentioned in the forum, I’m getting married this weekend, so a lot of the changes listed there may take about 2 weeks to materialize, but know that I’m on it!
