War Tactics

This tactic will not work for any newbies at all. It takes way too much micromanaging work, as well as macro back at home base. It will take place in late game. It work's well against another protoss very well, it can work against terrans as long as they don't have too much home defence. And people can say it wouldn't work against zerg, but it does, and i have proven that as a fact at least 29 times, with no failure.
Fighting a worthy oppoent can get pretty hot in battle. If both are on the offencive then there will not be much defence on either base, since all the money is put into macromanaging, and expanding safly. Some people take this opportunity to do a drop on the other base in the mineral line. Though if it is a worthy oppoent, then he will have that guarded lightly. At the end it wont be worth it. A Protoss's best way of dealing with an oppoent like this, is to know that you cannot defeat the main base. First you have to do 2 separate things. You must recon(speed zeal, or shuttle, gotta save your gas) to figure out where the expansions are and to find out the defence layout. While doing this, you should be producing 2-3 arbiters, with all the upgrades. Look for the less defended expansion and attack it hard with everything you got. If you can walk into the base then do that. (arbiter can accompany if there is no cloak detection yet) When the forces come to take you out, then use that arbiter with your forces to freeze them, and keep destroying the base, after the base is gone, then recall your men, if u don't feel you can take on the frozen units. Of coarse if your smart you will recall into another base and attack that one. Hopefully when the other units come in, you have the energy to freeze them to destroy more, once you did all you could. Then recall back to home base with your 3rd arbiter. now the battle is in your favor. You have did alot of damage to the enemy base, and you have most of your units to go on defence. Now your enemy has to recover. Expand at this point and get your economy back up. Depending on the circumstances you should easily be able to kill him. Just make you you have recon on every mineral area so he can't sneak an expansion. The most important thing is this game isn't that the arbiters cloak you, but to make sure they are hot keyed, and they can freeze the other men. If you have the gas, then make templar. But in worthy game where 2 people are fighting hard, you may not have the gas needed. so save up for arbiters. The game should be yours now. As long as you keep to your experience wit, by guarding your mineral lines, and defending your expansions hard, while non stop upgrading. Note that this is only good for experienced players. It takes speed and heavy micro to deal with this. (as well as a good mouse) I speak of theory and experience in over 40 games. This has not failed yet, and i guarantee that. (note, in a heavy game they will not have capital ships or anything big if its non stop attacking)
CreepColony's Opinion: Dragoons and reavers work well with arbiters.
