Build Anywhere Glitch (Does not work with 1.08!)

This is probably the most famous and important glitch. It is very easy to do and the effect can totally change the outcome of the game. Thanks to AreaStarcraft for all the pictures!

1. Find a space between 2 cliff ledges. An example is this one shown here which is at the bottom right base of Big Game Hunters.

2. Send a worker into that space.

3. Take another worker and right click the first worker. The second one should be on top of the first one, trapping him, like this:

4. Take the first worker, and right click on the ledge at the left of him. Do this until he is facing to the right, as shown here:

5. Now you take the first worker and try to build a building anywhere on the map. You should be able to build anywhere in your vision or fog of war. The building will start building all by itself, like this!

6. Your worker (in this case an SCV) will fly to the building spot, but he doesn’t need to be there for the structure to finish building.

This will work for Terran, Zerg, and sometime Protoss. Zerg results are a little different. First of all, with Zerg and Terran, you can build a building ANYWHERE in your fog of war, including right on top of other buildings! Way cool! Also, when you start building something with this glitch, the Drone will disappear (Unlike SCVs who glide over)!

Also, your worker doesn’t necessarily have to be stuck between two cliff ledges. As long as he is stuck anywhere (between buildings, for example), this glitch will work. Here is a screenshot of me doing the glitch on “WORLD’S FASTEST SHARED Bases” map.

Floating Drone - Submitted by =Ass=Sylum=

Get a drone in a corner with units surrounding it, make it so it cant move in any direction…
than tell it to build something (probally a hatchery since it can be built almost anywhere) and soon after telling it to build tell it 2 move to that same spot, the drone will usually fly there, takes a bit of practice to master however.

Floating High Templar/Dark Templar - Submitted by =Ass=Sylum=

Glitch is exactly the same for ht and dt. First, seperate the ht or dt so you will have enough time to do this. While holding shift, tell the ht/dt to morph into a da/archon, and while still holding shift tell them to move to the destination u want to float 2… when they are JUST about to morph tell them both to hold position, if done right they will float to the spot you told them to go to.

You can also have the Dark Templar attack…instead of telling them to move to a spot, tell them to attack a unit, they will continue to float until the unit they are after is dead.

Mine From a Distance - Submitted by =Ass=Sylum=

Get an arbiter and any form of worker, tell the workers to mine at any spot and have the arbiter at a spot where units cant be recalled (aka over water) while the unit is walking to the minerals, recall it and it will start to mine from a distance, minerals can also be returned this way… (when doing with vespene gas units teleport into the extractor/assimilator/refinery)

Build From a Distance - Submitted by =Ass=Sylum=

Isnt really much use for this… but still a glitch (usually can only be done in ums games). This is a variation of the mine from a distance, have a scv start a building somewhere on the map (doesnt matter where), now have an arbiter on a spot where units cant be recalled (again over water etc…) tell the scv to continue building the partially built building, recall the scv… one recall and it floats to it, two recalls and it builds while floating to it, three recalls and it stands still while building it from a distance.

Permanently Cloaked Zerg Units - Submitted by =Ass=Sylum=

This glitch works on any unit with burrow… first, get the unit you want to cloak just outside of an arbiters cloak range, than burrow that unit, after burrowing tell the arbiter to move forward, now JUST as the unit comes into cloaking range unburrow it, you will have to move it outside of the arbiters cloaking range to see if the glitch worked… takes a bit of time to master.

Permanently Cloaked Zerg Buildings - Submitted by EndsRevolution

I tested out the cloaked drone with arbiter trick to see which buildings cloak.

Permanently cloaked buildings are-
Spawning Pool
Evolution Chamber
Spire
Queens Nest

When you make a Nydus canal, the initial building is cloaked, but the nydus canal’s counterpart is not. This could still be helpful strategically if you snuck a cloaked drone into a zergs base and built the nydus entrance there.

Most other zerg buildings cloak while building but uncloak as soon as they are completed.

Build in Air - Submitted by =Ass=Sylum=

This is a funny glitch, not really much point to it however… First, build the unit you want to build and liftoff the building at the EXACT same time (probally by using the hotkeys.) now if you did it right the unit will stay at 0% done until you land, now, hold shift and tell it to land, than tell it to move somewhere… as soon as it hits the ground it will liftoff again, and the unit will start to build, it will finish at the spot you attempted to land at.

Move Command Center Next to Minerals - Submitted by =Ass=Sylum=

This is pretty useful in a melee game… first, make it so that you are able to build an addon for your cc (comsat station or nuke silo), than make it so you just have enough for a comsat station (doesnt have to be exact however) move all units away from your minerals (if it hits anything it stops) than lift off your cc, hold shift and tell it to build an addon, and while still holding shift tell it to move to the minerals (you may have to right click directly on minerals… cant really remember) while it is moving to the destination, build something that makes it so there isnt enough minerals or vespene gas, and your cc should float to the minerals (You may have to build the unit while the cc is landing… but I dont think so)

Crush Interceptors - Submitted by =Ass=Sylum=

Seems that if you land on top of interceptors you destroy them.

Flying Engineering Bay Upgrading - Submitted Peter Roganski

Note: In order for this to work the weapons and armor ups for terran
infantry units must be default time. (or at least not a short upgrade time
like instant or 1)

1. Build an Eginering Bay.
2. Have Enough Resources to upgrade
3. Press L (liftoff) and very quickly after it W (weapons) or A (armor)
4. Watch It looks so Cool

PS: You dont get a refund for the upgrade and the enjineering bay counts as flying. Good for tricking human opponents into thinking the Bays are landed.

Disable Missile Turrets - Submitted X]Silence]CSK[

You need a Observer and a Turret. Make sure you and the turret are enemies, so it can attack you. Make the Observer go to the middle of the Turret as fast as possible then press H 3 times and it should make the Observer stopin the Middle of the turret, therefore Disabling it completly.

Critter Trick

A VERY easy and cheap way to see your opponent’s base!

This is very simple to do…all it requires is a map with critters (preferably Kakarus because they fly) and you being Zerg. Get a Queen with 75 energy and look for a critter. Parasite the thing, and you can see what it sees! Once the critter walks (or flies) into your opponent’s base, enjoy the view! This is really cool because your opponent will not automatically attack the critter! This is because it’s a neutral unit! This neat little trick will help A LOT in a game.

Note: This will not work very well against comps because comps always kill critters. But most humans just ignore them! :)

Critter Trick 2 - Submitted by Mental Idiot

Another cheap way to spy on your opponents with critters.

In this trick, you need to be Protoss. Get some High Templars with hallucination and hallucinate a critter. This will create 2 copies of it which you can control. Bring them to your opponents base and spy! But do it quickly because hallucination only lasts about 1 minute. If you don’t want your critter to disappear, just take a Dark Archon and mind control it! Either way, the critter will look realistic because if you do not give it any commands, it will move by itself like it would if it was neutral. The upside of this trick over the Parasite one is that you can control the critter. The downside is that the enemy will automatically attack it when they see it, since the critter is under your control.

Critter Explosion - Special thanks to {CC}Steven

This is a really cool trick to make a critter go boom! I always wanted to put it on my site but kept forgeting to…thanks to {CC}Steven for sending me this trick. Ok, here’s what you do. Look for a critter and left-click it. It should make a sound (like all other units when you click on them). Do this 14 times IN A ROW. Each time you click the critter needs to make a sound. So if you click on it half a second after you clicked on it before, it won’t make a sound and the click won’t count. After having it make 14 sounds in a row, it should blow up like a nuke!

NOTE: Does not do damage and does not work on B.net :(

Tank Vs. Tank Trick

You’re Terran and you’re oponnent is Terran…hmmm…what do you think Terran players build. Tanks! Ever try to attack a Terran with Marines or your own Tanks? They get beat down by your opponent’s tanks! Well, there is a way to hurt his tanks with your tanks, without your tanks getting hurt! Got it so far? Ok. Bring some tanks and marines right outside your opponets base. Take one marine and send him to “attack”. He’ll get whacked by a tank shell in a blink of an eye, and be a bloody “circle”. Siege your tanks outside that circle, and send another marine over. Your tanks should start blasting away without getting hurt! Why? Because tanks can shoot further than their vision. Cool!

ESW=DarkTemplar adds:
All you have to do is make a ghost with the Ocular implant upgrade and make it hold position next to a siege tank. The tanks should see farther now without sacrificing your marines. This tactic also works if the ghosts are put in bunkers. Making the tanks next to the bunkers see farther.

I guess you can use just about anything…even flying buildings!

Swooper adds:
I’ve found that all units can be but under a terran building, but you only use tanks and lurkers because they don’t run away. But you can keep any unit undet it just by telling them to hold position.

“Invincible” Tank Glitch (Does not work with 1.08!)

This trick is used to make your siege tank have the hit points of a building! To do this, first hotkey a tank, and put it next to a building that is capable of flying. Lift off the building, and land it. While it’s landing, get your tank, move it under the landing building, and siege it. You must do this VERY QUICKLY. The tank will now have the life of the building and be invincible to melee units! With practice, you can get 5+ tanks hiding under 1 building!

“Invincible” Lurker Glitch

This is the same thing as the “Invincible” Tank Glitch except the flying building can only be an Infested Command Center, and instead of sieging a tank, you burrow the Lurker.

Champion69 adds:
If you make a ring of buildings and pack them fairly tight together and leave about say… 3×3 box in the middle you can drop a few hydras in there and lurker morph them, right when they come out you burrow them and you have lurkers under a building, this works very well with sunken colonies and spore colonies because it protects them from melee attacks and you dont have to worry as much against detection….

“Invisible” Supply Depot - Submitted by Snakeab

If you are a newbie or you know you’re gonna lose, and your terran…

When you get money to spare send an SCV behind a mineral patch and build a supply depot right when he starts building it, click on the SCV (not the supply depot) and press cancel. It will almost look as if it werent there. Then when you lose all your buildings (except the supply depot), your opponent will think the game is messed up and leave. You should probably build a few all around the map. Try to build one behind your enemies minerals.

CreepColony’s adds:
If your opponent looks at the mini-map, he will see the big fat building color block. So prey your opponent is dumb enough to ignore the mini-map.

Lazy Upgrade Trick - Submitted by alan szeto

First get a dark archon then you reserch mind control and mind control a protoss unit and hope they have an upgrade done on that unit then look at your building that can upgrade that upgrade and it will be done for you without using money or time, only mana.

Drone Trick

Build past the underling supply of your first Overlord with this neat trick!

Build drones until your control is 9/9. Take your 9th drone and morph him into a cheap building, like an extractor or me (creep colony). When it starts morphing, your control will be 8/9, so you can build another drone. Once you start building that drone, you can cancel the cheap building. Your control will be 10/9 and you will also get extra money!

Joseph Twoski adds:
If you think 1 drone past your first overlord, here’s an even better one. If you’ve got the hatcheries for it, you can make nearly any number past your limit, even beyond 200. If you’ve got 3 hatcheries, simply create 9 creep colonies, start the eggs, than cancel the colonies. It’s as simple as that. Their seems to be no real limit, just how many leaches you can get.

Burrowed Extractor (?) Glitch - Submitted by Mike

First, you need to get the ability to burrow. Afterwards, get a drone and press burrow then quickly press the button to make a basic building (press U, B). It’ll show that you can make an extractor, but you can’t really do that. Weird, huh?

White Commands Glitch - Submitted by Weng Fung

Select a building that can build add-ons like a Starport (without it’s addon).Press L and C at the sametime. If done correctly, you don’t need to select the target of where to build the addon and the addon command is white at the bottom right corner of your screen. You can do this to some other buildings and other commands such as L ; R (rally command would be white).

CreepColony adds:
All this glitch does is make the command change color from yellow to white.

Hear Your Own Music Trick - Submitted by Weng Fung

Turn off music in the game. To do that: Play any match/campaign and go to Menu->Options->Sound and then drag the yellow dot all the way to the left on the integer line below the word “Music Volume” or just push CTRL+M at anywhere in the game besides the Menu screen only if music from the CD is still playing. Push ALT+TAB and open a .mid player/Napser/any program that opens a music for you to hear/or a music from a webpage. When the music is playing, push and hold ALT+TAB.Make sure the outline box is on Star Craft icon. If not, continue to hold ALT but let go TAB and keep pressing Tap until the box is over the Star Craft icon. Finally, let go of ALT and you will be back on Star Craft with the music you open at first being played.

When you are building a unit, just before and I mean right before it is done, cancel it and you will the see the unit die. This works for all races but the Zerg just displays the egg die instead of the unit.

“Flying” Drone Trick - Submitted by ~Toy~machine~

This is a cool trick that lets you view a flying drone. Just tell a drone to build a creep colony and right when it is about to morph, hit print screen (use print screen button on keyboard, picture is saved in your StarCraft directory as a picture file) If you do it at the right time your drone will clearly appear to be in the air and will even have a shadow.

Lag Reduction Trick - Submitted by ~Toy~machine~

Having too much lag on bnet? Try this…Turn starcraft completely off and go into the SC directory on your comp. Find a file called bncache.dat or just bncache. Delete this file. I guess its a cache of all games you play on bnet and it gets pretty big in size. Its best to delete it about every 25 games. You should now experience less lag when joining games.

Irradiated Zerg Building Glitch - Submitted by Lollygagger

Well this is a neat little glitch I found. To use it, make a ums map where your drones have like 100 hp (or something like that) and you have a science vessel with irradiate to start out with. Iradiate the drone and make a building from it as fast as you can. The building will stay iradiated for about a minute or so even though the drone is gone now! The building isn’t damaged but I think any organic units that get close to it are.

Extra BCs/Carrier Trick - Submitted by cycloidbeta

You need an ally who is Terran

2) Ask your ally to get tons of ghosts with lockdown
3) Build up your squad of battles or carriers (i like battles more) and send it to his base or he send his ghosts to your base
4) Ask him to lockdown your battles. Notice that your supply will go down
5) Start building more battles before the lockdown wears off on your 1st squad
6) Have fun killing ur opponent(s)

CreepColony’s Note: Locking down your own BCs will not work.

Plague Glitch - Submitted by ])ar](_Shiran

This glitch will not help you in a game but it still funny. Build an Extractor, get a Defiler, plague your Extractor and then destroy your Extractor BEFORE the spell end. Once it’s done, you will still see the plague spell LOL, to make it more funny, build another Extractor at the same place BEFORE the spell end, your new Extractor will get damage because of the spell plague that is still there. (When you destroy a building affect by the spell plague, the spell is suppose to disapear, even if 1 second after
you build at the same place, but not with this glitch :-) ) Once the new Extractor is done, after a while the spell will end.

Carrier-less Interceptors Glitch - Submitted by Jay

This stragegy or trick is suppose to let you scout what your enemy has in his base (once u already found out where it is)

First, u have to be protoss.
Second, u have to have probe
Third, Arbiter (recall) and Carriers with interceptor capacity upgrades

Now lets say you are on a map like Hunters or something like that. Your base is top middle (12 o clock)
Now lets say u scouted and discovered ur enemy is on bottom middle. (6 o clock.)
go to the bottom right base (4-5 o clock) with ur probe and 12 carriers (or how many carriers u got) and use your probe to
make a nexus.

Now while you are waiting for your nexus to be complete, bring an arbiter to the bottom left (7-8 o clock).
once your arbiter is in position and ur nexus is done. Make all ur carriers bunch up tightly and attack your nexus.
Now quickly use ur arbiter and use recall on ALL your CARRIERS. (NOT interceptors). While all your carriers are
attacking ur nexus, the interceptors will be flying everywhere. Then, when u recall the carriers, ur carriers are warped
right across the enemy base to the other side. Now the interceptors have no “HOME ship” so the interceptors will
automatically find it on their own. In this case, the ceptors will fly right across the enemy base, (seeing what they have)
and going to your carriers. Now ur enemy will also be confused. he will be saying…
“WHAT THE HELL?! INTERCEPTORS and NO CARRIERS?! HUH!!??!?!?!?!”

You must do the recall pretty fast… before your carriers destroy your nexus. Because once the nexus is destroyed, all of your
interceptors are gone also. Thats why nexus is the best building to make for this trick since it has the highest HP
therfore giving u the most time to execute this trick.

At this point, if your enemy is a fool, he would call u a hacker or cheater and think u invented a secret unit or something

Well anyways, this trick is really fun to do. LOL! have fun!

Remove Dark Swarm/Disruption Web Glitch - Submitted by PsychoChimpy

When your opponent attempts to disable your defences with Dark swarm to bring Lings in or Disruption Web to Stop your missile turrets, Fly a building over to it and tell it to land on THE EDGE of the spell so that half the building is on it and half is out of it. If done correctly the spell will disappear. This bug was from the invincible Siege Tank fix in 1.08. It would also work on any other stationary spells (Scanner Sweep?).

Maelstorm Burrowed Lurker Glitch - Submitted by Weng Fung

It is impossible to maelstrom a unit that is burrowed like lurkers with Dark Archons. You can try it. But this glitch will change your mind, believe it or not. We will learn how to maelstrom a lurker underground. It will look like a red circle on top of the hole. When it is frozen,it cannot attack and burrow back up! The requirments for this is:Dark Archon(with maelstrom installed),and a Lurker(obtained from a mind controled drone or just been mind controled).Have a Lurker not burrowed in the ground. Put your arbiter in a position West/East/North/South about 8 Inches/21 cent. or more away from the Lurker. Maelstrom your Lurker with the Dark Archon. While your Dark Archon is walking towards the Lurker, highlight your Lurker quickly and get ready to push U(to burrow/unburrow) when the Dark Archon is about to cast the spell(it does that in about 6 inches/13 cent. away from your lurker). Cool, huh?

You can also put a stasis field over the Lurker when he’s frozen this way although you can’t put stasis field over burrowed units as a default. You can also do this trick to Zerg enemies. Send in attack forces and have a few Dark Archons ready to cast any cool spell. When your enemy has a Lurker and it is burrowing down, make sure you have a Dark Archon close enough to cast Maelstrom without really walking towards it and then maelstrom it while it is burrowing. He would be amaze and the Lurker will stay there for alittle while without attacking or lifting back up. To make it stay longer, stasis field it. The Lurker will not be protecting his base for a little while.

Past Protoss Supply Limit Trick - Submitted by Weng Fung

Get a Dark Archon that can Mind Control and then reach 200/200, have all the plyons needed for psi already, and you do not have enough psi to build anymore units. Next, Mind Control a Protoss enemy/ally unit (best to ask permission for allie first so he knows what the heck you are trying to do).

Moving Units in Stasis Field Glitch - Submitted by Weng Fung

This glitch is not a glitch where you can command the units in stasis field to move whereever you want them to,they move radomly by themself. The requirments are:Arbiter(with stasis field installed),Drone(that is mind controled),Qeeen (builded by the Zerg technology tree starting from that Drone and with spawn broodlings installed),must be playing single player, and cheat code:”The gathering” typed in.Spawn broodling a larvae with a Queen at a Hatchery.Select the 2 broodlings that you just created and send them to a big area that you think can hold up to atleast 12 broodlings and no buildings or obstacles blocking it.Spawn one of the broodling. Do it again…..and again…..keep repeating until there is 12 or more broodlings.Select all broodlings and try to send them as close to each other in your best way so they look like if they are in a packed group position.Spawn about 3 more times on the sides of this packed group.Have a arbiter(with atleast enough energy to cast a stasis field) away from the packed group about 8 inches/21 cent or more.Click the arbiter and make it stasis field the middle of that packed group. *While it is flying towards it,keep spawning the broodlings at the packed group with a queen in random targets as fast as you can! When the broodlings got frozen, the stasis field units would move around randomly and through each other to get into a position. If you want to do this glitch in Multiplayer or Modem to show it off to other human players then I would strongly suggest you to use more than 1 queen to spawn.

Command Center Resources Glitch

This is a very useful glitch that let’s you build a command center much closer to resources than you normally can! Requires a map you know like the back of your hand (or map hack =( ).

First get a Medic with optical flare ability and an SCV. Have the medic optic flare your SCV. Now move your SCV really close to a resource field, but make sure you can’t see the resources. Like I said, a map hack would help by turning it on and off to see if you’re in the right position. When you think you’re right near the minerals, build a command center there, and if you did this glitch correctly, your command center will be right next to the resources! Awesome!

Immobile Spider Mine Glitch

Have you ever dropped a spider mine but didn’t want it to chase the enemy units everywhere? Or wanted to hide spider mines from enemy detectors? Well, there’s a way to do both! First, hotkey a vulture with spider mine ability. Lift off a building and put in near the vulture. Land the building, and while it’s landing, drop a spider mine at the landing zone (a lot like the “Invincible” Tank and “Invincible” Lurker Glitches). Your spider mine will never move as long as it’s inside the building…but if you want it to start bombing some units, just lift-off the building.

Talking Dead - Submitted by ((shol<\l/ave))

If you’re in the zerg BroodWar campaign “True Colors”, then get a queen as soon as possible and get “Spawn Broodling”. Take a queen to Fenix’s spot (where he appears after the ten minutes is up) and when he appears, spawn broodling him immediatley. He should then say something about Tassadar giving Kerrigan a lesson. Weird thing is he’s already dead!

In “Rebellion” where you have to meet Kerrigan and free the Antigans, use the cheat “staying alive”. Go up and kill Kerrigan, but not with Jim Raynor. Go to where she dies with Raynor and they will talk!

Look for other places were characters speak a lot, and see if u can kill them before they speak. Funny results do happen!

2.move ur ghost a little up so it could go down ez.
3.put 20-40 zergling more where the old one are burrow

Now the important part:

8.try again if u didnt make it
9.try it in the melee game wif other unit

Fake Elimination Trick - Submitted by SoulSurvivor

A cool trick to help you stay alive! This works even better on games with more than 1 person on your team.

If your main base is being attacked and cannot be saved, but have a second base growing elsewhere, watch your main base, and wait for the enemy to destroy the last structure. As soon as that structure is destroyed type “was eliminated” (Make sure you have your communications set to send to all). Many times, the enemy will think that they have eliminated you, and turn their attentions to your partner, giving you time to rebuild and rethink your strategy. If you are playing against only one player then they will be wondering how come the game hasn’t ended. Some Newbies are actually dumb enough to end the mission, not realizing they are surrendering.

Drawbacks:

1) You still show up on the alliances screen.
2) The colon ( : ) after your name will tip players off that you weren’t really eliminated.
3) The message is in the player chat color (periwinkle?), not in game system color (yellow).

False Surrender Trick

This is similar to the Fake Elimination Trick above, but can be more realistic.

If you have an expansion, and one of your base’s are under attack, press enter, and type in “has left the game” (make sure you have chat on “send to all”), but don’t send it yet! Pause the game and then send the message. People will think you have surrendered! This looks more realistic than the Fake Elimination Trick because the color of the fonts are all the same when the game is paused! I actually got fooled by this trick before!

Fake Cheat/Nuke - Submitted by Disaster

To make people pretend you are nuking or cheating, type a whole bunch of spaces and then type “Cheat Enabled” or “Nuclear Launch Detected”. I do not know exactly how many spaces to type, so I suggest you experiment in single player before you do it on bnet. This trick won’t work well for a few reasons. First of all, they will see your name on the left. Second of all, it is not the game system font color. Game system font color is white; chat font color is blue. Thirdly, if you are doing a fake nuke, the game advisor will not say “Nuclear Launch Detected”. Also, instead of using “Cheat Enabled” you might want to type in “Your bnet name Cheat Enabled” because that’s how the bnet codes hack works.

Fake Virus Trick

Are you sick of backstabbers, or just angry at retards in a game you created? Then send them a fake virus!

When you feel the time is right (got backstabbed, getting attacked, etc), it’s time to scare the heck out of retarded players! Click on menu, and click on “save game”. Type in “MTXVirus to C Drive” (or something like that) and click save. A screen will pop-up and say “Saving ‘MTXVirus to C Drive’”. For a more dramatic effect, save the game every 10-20 seconds so it looks real! Many people actually think this is a real virus and will do anything for you to get rid of it! Just say to them “It will keep on downloading as long as you’re in the game. If you leave the game by surrendering, it will stop downloading. If you try to disconnect yourself, the virus thinks you’re still in the game, and will continue downloading next time you’re online.” This is a really neat trick that will earn you many cheap wins (and laughs!).

Note: Only game creators are allowed to save games, so this won’t work if you are joining a game.

B.net Music Glitch - Submitted by {DT}~AlphaZulu

Say you are starting a use map settings game on B.net. When the mission briefing starts, hit cancel and you’ll be able to listen to the music (the “song” you first hear when you start Starcraft) in the B.net chatrooms!

Ghetto Punt

Kick those damn newbies out of the game and get a victory!

Let’s say you’re playing a 1on1 and you think you’re losing, plus there is lag in the game. Say to your opponent, “you, press alt+F4+x to clear up the lag”. If your retarded opponent listens to you, he will automatically exit Starcraft and you’ll get a victory!

Anti Map Hack Trick

You probably know that the anti-hack programs in my Anti-Hacks section don’t work. Map hackers are just stupid llamas who need to cheat to get wins. We all know them, we all hate them (unless you’re a map hacker yourself). Wanna catch those fools? Simple. After 30 seconds or so in the game, turn on shared vision with your opponent. If he says, “I’m not allied with you dumb@$$” (or something like that), then he’s not a map hacker. If he doesn’t say anything, then you should say “Haha, you’re a map hacker you stupid newbie! You suck! LOL, what a lamer!” (or something like that). He might deny it, and if he does, ask him “OK, if you’re not a map hacker, then why did I accuse you?” If he says “because you turned shared vision on and I didn’t want to tell you!”, then he’s probably not a map hacker, but he’s still a lamer who wants to cheat. If he doesn’t know that you turned shared vision on, then he is definitely a map hacker. And if you decide you still want to play, you can laugh at him through the entire game! If it’s still not 2 minutes in the game, and you decide you don’t want to play with map hacking f@gs, you can leave the game and get a draw. The downside of this trick is that if your opponent isn’t a map hacker, you would reveal your location to him!
