This strategy is really cheap and anoying.

But first, i have to say this only works VS. ZERG

ONLY VS. ZERG.

vs. any other good toss or terran player, they can break thru this defense I once played a VERY VERY ANNOYING opponent that did this to me and my friend in a 2v2 after if became a 2v1 when we killed one of his allies. Too bad me and my friend were both zerg so we lost.

The defense is...
(assuming all of these units are fully upgraded)
Dragoons (20+)
High Templars (10+) yup.... this is the key unit for this D.
Arbiter (2+)
Observers (15+) gotta be able to see incoming attacks to prepare

The set up...
Place all ur units in a choke point.
Have an arbiter over all the units. This way, they cannot target ur high templars. Now, ur dragoons protect u from ground and air. Arb protect all ur units... use stasis too if u need to. And templars, Zap like carzy. U must Zap like crazy or this Strategy wont work. Now observers... Place them in front of ur choke point to see what units are coming. Like mass lings? hydras? guards? lurks? queens? defilers?

If you are very good at micromanagement skillz (controling your units well) u can even take on 2 Zerg experts. I played some guy that did this and me and my friend were both zerg experts and we couldnt break thru. This Strategy can also beat drops. When u see a bunch of overlords coming 2 ur base from the side (since u have so many observers u should see this coming) When the overlord is getting close to the shoreline, zap the lords. Then with cannons at the shore line, that should finish the overlords. If the lord manages to drop something, ur cannons can take that out too with ur temps. Since ur chokepoint is strong, ur side of ur base is weak. but not if u got like 15 templars on each side. You should have about 20-30 templars in total. and like 30 obsrevers to fore-see incoming attacks easily. When i played, i went for mass guardians. like 4 groups. my friend attacked with like about 10 groups of 12 hydras. ( in other words... TONS! of hydras) we attacked together head force. But all it took to shut that attack down was about 10 psionic storms.. Eventually, me and my friend left the game since it was so boring. tha game was like 1.5 hrs long.

This strategy is Very good. and it works very well... just make sure the opponent is ZERG.

COUNTER PROTOSS WALL with other races Terran can easily take out ur D head on with tanks. since temps die to tanks EZ. before temps can get in range to zap. Goons die ez to tanks too. And a single EMP will make sure ur Goons + arbiter have no more shields. and EMP also make sure no more pisonic storms from the templars. meaning a simple stim marine + medic is enuf to take out the defense.

Protoss can go mass corsairs and D web over the D so all the dragoons are disabled and then take out the arbiters while the dragoons cannot attack.

Zerg can broodling all the temps... but finding the templars in a crowd of goons is harder to find then a flock of queens coming towards your defense. So in most cases, the queens would get zapped and die before the templars can even be found in the crowd of dragoons.
