This guide will teach you how to backstab with each race and how to do it fast and effectively.

Some of the things I will say in this guide is:

-backstabbing with terran.

-backstabbing with protoss.

-backstabbing with zerg.

-ways to manipulate your opponents

now lets get started.

-Backstabbing with the Terran.

Backstabbing with the terran is the hardest race to backstab with. Some of the reasons are they build slowly and the fact that they dont have as much health as the other races. 2 zerglings have 35 health each, while 1 marine has 45. It IS possibel to stab as terran, but not as easy. Not recomended for newbie stabbers.

Now the worker stab is easiest done AS the terran. The reason for this is that the terran can repair there workers while the other one attacks. Also the SCV has the most health.

First off start building an SCV. Now send your SCV's to the enemy base and target each worker individually, make sure to retreat wounded SCV's and repair them. If this is a 2V1C and you fail, just leave. Since the game hasent been 2 mins and 30 seconds yet it counts as a draw. I'm not going into detal how to kill the comp. Read soemoen elses guiude for that.

-rush stab TERRAN

This isint like the other races. I shall give the build order for this.(It works every time for me and clan }{`BS)

get workers till supply is 8/10

build barracks

build scv

build supply

build barracks

build scv

build barracks

build supplies till ??/50+

Now pump Marines till you have max supply. While your doing this you can get gas and get an academy. Now once you have your masses of marines simply march to your ally and backstab him. easy as pie.

-tech stab TERRAN

Start with your casual buidl order and make sure to get gas. Build 3 Factories and pump tanks, about 7 tanks alwase works for me. Now drive over to your ally and seige. Make sure to keep making units whiell doing this if you have more than one stab victim.

That is some of the most effective Terran ways of stabbing in the game. If you can think of a better way to stab with terran, then post them up on this site.

-Backstabbing with the PROTOSS

In my honest opinion the protoss are the best race in the game to backstab with. There powerful and easy tp use. They have MORE health and attack power at the start. Also the protoss can take crowds easily and effectively(useful for killing all 6 humans in a 7v1 comp)

-worker stab protoss

This is fun and effective :) First off, Get a good cash flow then get a pylon and a forge up, then go to your allies base and say your going to build some detectors for him. Fill his base with cannons then unally. TRUST ME, this is really funny!

-rush stab protoss

Use your normal protoss build order then get 3 zealots as fast as possible! Now send them over to your friend and target each of there millitary individually. You can get 3 Zealots before terran get a wall finished and before the zerg get reasonable sunkens. Also remember, if you see your enemy doing the same rush build a shield battery and wait, then when they attack you can just cure and kill them, then go and kill them. Its pretty easy for the protoss to get cannons in, but if you run past them you may be able to take them out.

-tech stab protoss

THIS IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE BACKSTAB IN THE ENTIRE GAME!!!! WHat you do is start your casual build order making sure you have 5 gateways, now tech up to dark templars. Once you done that get about 7 or more dark templars. Now simply take off vision and go STRAIGHT to there commad center/hatchery/nexus and attack, they should die befoer they get a chance to lift off.
~NOTE: this stab isint effective against zerg unless you tech to corsairs and kill the oevrlords.

-Backstabbing with the ZERG

The zerg are a race that is used to build quickly and attack en masses. Remember to keep this in mind when stabbing your victim. Also the zerg are the hardest race in the game to backstab, sicne they start with a mobile supply/detector and are the fastest ecenomic race in the game(u can spawn drones from your millitary buildings, that means you can have multi bsaes FAST)

-worker stab zerg

This is a way like the Protoss but with a slight adjustment. You need to con your ally into letting you build defense for him. Then if hes zerg just build CreepColonies™ in the most annoying places. Then change them to sunkens and unally. Bye Bye :)

-rush stab zerg

This is an easy rush stab. Its effective for taking out multiple people as well. Start your casual buidl order and tech to zerglings. Now RIGHT when you get those zerglings attack, while your attacking build more hatcheries. Now just spawn masses of zerglings and attack. Attack the people tryign to wall in first.

-tech stab zerg

This is a stab thats annoying to the enemies and will kill ANY ground assults. Tech to Guardians and get about 12 of them then sttack your opponent. make sure they dont go air, if they do then get some devouerors to help. While your stabbing your first victim keep making guardians and dont stop. This stab is the 2nd most effective in the game. When i was a newbie this was how i was first stabbed, but since i diddent know what was going on, he let me live(LOL!)

These are just simple ways of backstabbing your opponent with each of the three races 3 different ways. But that is not the only ways of the stabber. Now i will list the ways to manipulate your victims and there allies into helping you or believing you and not assisting your victim.

-Talking

Talking is very important if you want the people on your side. Try to start the conversation by saying somthing alot of people are intrested in(girls, final fantasy, diablo?) and get a conversation going. It will in the end make people on your side and willing to kill for you.

-Acting like a newbie

Acting like a newbie will ensure your not attacked first. have VERY little forces, they will not assume you, and everyoen will attack each other in a civil war, whiel thats happeneing tech up (guards/carriers/tanks) and then when a few are left, kill them easily. This dosent alwase work. Another stabber may be in the game and pick you, but if a stabber picks the weakest person, thats a newbie stabber. NEVER TARGET THE WEAKEST PERSON!!! It gives the strongest person more time to build up and kill you.

-Accusing

Start by accusing FIRST! I cant stress this enough. Start by accusing a person with masses of defense. Newbies have weak minds and will admire the stronger person, and when you accuse someone with mass def, they WILL follow your words.

-Attacking

Ask your "victims" if you can stab the person with mass def, ask then to help you attack, let them attack, then get your SPLASH DMG/CLOAKED units and turn off ally, they wont respond fast enough before there all dead. Then everyone has no attack units, and you will defeat them.

-If you cant win

If you cannot win against all 7 people, stab one and say "if he's not the stabber then kill me!" And what you do now is kill the victim and then turn ally victory on, if some smart ass turns it off, then your dead unless you can talk your way out.

-Names

Do not have names with BS in them or }{ because these names are prime targets for blames. If you have a name like WTC-Bomber or Battle.net your gonna be attacked first.

Frequently Asked Questions about backstabbing at Battle.net

1. What's the worst thing that can happen in a backstab?
The worst thing that can happen during a backstab is that the combined group of people could rally against you and kill you. Other things may occur, such as a person getting killed by you may disconnect or leave. Some may use a lag hack, where the drop counter will intermittently count down to 0, and at that time, the Drop Players button won't function. If you aren't in it for the win, you can ctrl+alt+del out of it, but eventually it will go away when someone else closes SC.

2. I've had someone say that they are reporting me. What can I do?
Don't worry, they can't do anything. The battle.net admins don't care unless you were cheating on a ladder game, and if they happened to get your IP (wingate, etc), no ISP will cancel your account because you were 'backstabbing at StarCraft'. If they're determined enough, they may get your account number and threaten to get their clan after you. The worst thing their clan can do is challenge you to a 1v1, and all you'd have to do is decline.

3. What is your number one rule for backstabbing?
My number one rule for backstabbing is to always have a friend. Never backstab alone unless you're expecting to get taunted and defeated. A team of 2 backstabbers is great, 3 is also good, 4 is probably too many. Be ready to defend your teammate(s). Some people also find backstabbing alone to be rewarding, but I only recommend this if you're a good player. 7v1ers suck ass, but 6 of them is probably the equivalent of a good player. However, if you're a great player and think you can handle 6 of them alone, why? It's most likely more fun to backstab with a trusted friend than backstabbing alone.

4. What is the best race for backstabbing?
There are two races I would recommend in backstabs. The first is Terran, and not only because their first unit can attack ground AND air, but because of their gay liftoff ability. This will allow you to taunt Zerg and Protoss players without the fear that they'll rush you. Beware of other Terran players though, as they can attack air quickly. The second race I'd recommend in backstabbing is Zerg, because you can quickly have defensive troops. Be sure to make other troops than just the zergling, because Terran players can liftoff in the face of a zergling attack. Protoss sucks for rush/backstabbing (although some would debate this, it takes much longer to get troops in Protoss and they're much more expensive, rushing isn't ideal).

5. What is the best map for backstabbing?
Several maps are great for backstabbing, but I prefer The Hunters (NOT BGH). The Hunters doesn't permit turtling-and-teching up to carriers. I've played several games where the outcome was determined because the people we were backstabbing ran out of money. There are some other good maps, but as long as you don't have to distribute them to everyone (Blizzard approved maps), it's good.
