Goliath vs. Ground

I know that many people would never use the Goliath against fighting ground units, but for me, it is actually one of the best.

Now, the major counterparts for the Goliath are Dragoons and Hydralisk. All of their ranks in price, attack, and life are in the order of Dragoon, Goliath, and Hydralisk. but the thing about the Hydralisk and the Dragoon are that they deal explosive damage which are bad against small units.

Cracklings tear apart Dragoons.
1.Dragoons take a lot of time to kill mass Cracks because of their small size and speed. 2.The dragoon's attack takes time from when they acquire the target and when the attack actually reaches the Crack so there is an EXTREME amount of overkill because when another Dragoon's attack is in the process of killing a Crack, more Dragoons are firing on a unit that is pretty much already dead.
3.They don't have as much armor as Goliath because about half of its full HP is protected by the armor, about another half is protected with a relatively weak sheild.

Hydralisk are the same except for #2 because it attacks
instantaneuosly.

Goliath kill Lings in 3 hits, and in an army, can kill a TON of lings before they even get to take a hit off.

When upgraded, Gols can take out a Marine in 3 hits, while marines only deal 5 damage to them(6-1).

Against small units, Goliath deal WAY more damage against them than Hydralisk or Dragoons. Hydras deal 5 damage in 15 SC time and Dragoons deal 10 damage in 30 SC time. Goliath deal 12 damage in only 22 time.

Goliath even rip apart hydras when they are in number because they have an upgraded range in 1.08 so they get a hit off.

When you think of it, 15 damage (fully upgraded) is a lot, and when paired with 4 armor, can totally rip units that deal multiple damages (zealot, 8x2 so it will be 4x2 with Goliath's armor)

We also know that Goliath probably the best against air units by far in the game with the exception of M&M or Archon against Mutas.

These are the units Goliath are good against.
Zerglings (3 hits)
Hydras (They are about hand in hand)
Mutas (They do jack damage)
Lurkers (Only if you have detection, and Gol's range only lets one Gol get hit at a time) Queens (No good spell against Mech)
Guardians (Gols have same range, more attack, cheaper)
Marines (3 hits)
Firebats (What are you talking about?)
Wraith (Weak as hell, jack damage)
Science Vessel (No good spell against Mech)
Battlecruiser (in large numbers)
Zealots (Unless small number vs small number)
Archons (EMP makes them die in 1 hit)
Dark Templar (Unless you don't have detection)
Scouts (Jack Damage, VERY expensive)
Dark Archons (No good spell)
Arbiters (Watch for Stasis)
Carrier (Be sure to target the Carrier, not the Ints)
Miners, and any other units that dont have a ground attack.

These are the units Goliath are BAD against.
Ultras (Unless paired with Tanks)
Defiler (Dark Swarm)
Ghost (Lockdown, but a Goliath is probably not the perfect candidate for that spell)
Tanks (Ownage)
Dragoons (Well, unless you have a couple of tanks)
Reavers (More Ownage)
Defense Structures (Better use tanks)
