I am here to inform all of you to the new terran stratagy sweeping battle.net by storm. Kills rushes, and gets the job done in the long run. I will be going over the steps to complete what is known as the "metal" stratagy. First off make workers up until #9 pops, use him to make a depot at the corner of your entrance, at #10s pop use him to make a barracks next to that depot as to make blockade. [depending on your opening you may need to add another depot to secure the seal.] By the time your first depot is done you should have enough money to make four more workers, get those pumping at put them on minerals as they spawn, along with your depot builder as well. When your barracks finishes make 2 marines and a bunker behind the depot and the barracks, make sure to leave the area behind the barracks open as this is your door later on. After the bunker is finished load the 2 marines, and use the scv to make a refinery, and pump a few more workers. As those are making, use an scv off your minerals to make the other refinery. Now as those finish take workers off minerals and put them into gas ( I personnaly use 4 at each gas ) and the scvs you have pumping put on minerals. Take 1 scv and make a depot. When this depot is done you will have nough money to begin your factory. [ I suggest everytime you hit 200 and 100 gas making a factory until you have at least 3 ] But well those are making make sure to have constant workers making at your cc and keep adding them to minerals because this gets very expensive. Once your first factory is done, put on the add-on. Research siege, and make 1 tank, when your second fac finishes put on an add-on and reserch spider mine. From the 2nd factory pump 2 valks. Use these valks to mine around your minerals and ceptable dropping spots, and areas dts are likely to hit. Now use your 3rd factory to pump 2 more tanks, get 4 valks going at fac 2, and 1 tank and 2 valks at fac 1. [++I cannot stress valks enough, too many people have passed them on as a *shitty* unit, they are one of the best in the game due to their mines.++] Until you get good detection up mines are your best friend, lift your barracks and mine all around your front, some right in front of your barracks for dt protection, others far out as they spy for your siege tanks and hit units. By now you sould have enough money to pump 2 starports, by the way don't forget to keep adding depots as you need them, get those starports and than use 1 scv to pump a science facility, and the other one+one from minerals to pump 2 armorys for upgrades and goliaths. Get 2 science vessels and research irradiate. [not really if you are facing all protoss though... than get emp]. Get the 2 vessels up to 75 and find an enemy zerg or terran base. Sit outside the base and have 1 vessel cast irradiate on the other, visa versa. Get them close togather and move them in over the enemys workers, move them back and f!
orth until all the workers are dead. Now get them back to your base for detection. Get your armory upgrading and have extended distance researching for your goliaths at the machine shop. Add on a cover ops to your science facility, research cloak, lockdown, and more energy, than extended view range. Build a nuclear silo, and get 6 ghosts.. keep these in your base as they are the ultimate in carrier/bc defense. Have your factorys pumping valks/tanks/goliahts in mass.. I cannot be to specific this far into the game just make whats needed. Now get a mass army of nothing but "metal" hense the name of the stratagy. Life of your barracks and move your army out, locate your frist victom laying spider mines behind you constantly as your army moves forth. Now when you find a clear siege spot ( bring your vessel with for detection and allowing siege tanks to use their power to the longest range ) place around 4 spider mines right where you plan to siege your tanks, place the siege tanks on top of them, defense matrix the first 2, and blast away. WELL THIS army is pumping, get a nuke making, 4 more factorys, upgrades, and keep your current factorys building.. never STOP this will protect you from a counter. (i hear this to much just sit back and watch you win) thats not the case, you have to forget about your army as you havve d'ed it to the best of your ability, chances are it will not die, you could look at it 10 minutes later and still have 50% of it tehre. get ALL your factorys pumping find the other enemy, and nuke his enterance now you should have an even bigger army, start pumping the factorys again well these are moving twords te new enemy if this enemy attempted to get your other army from the back replant the mines to prevent the first enemy from doing the same to him. and follow the mining procedure above and siege teh tanks matrix them. AFTER THIS ITS ALL UP TO YOU JUST KEEP UPGRADING AND PUMPING NEVER STOP. MAKE A FEW MORE VESSELS AS NEEDED AND USE THEM TO IRRIDDATE ON XERG... each can cast it twice fully powered... with 10 of them you could easyly take out 20 gaurds, 35 or more becuse they will be grouped up.and you have your ghost in your base for lock down on bc's and carriers and all your facts would have at lest 3 things in front of them by the time of a counter. Since I started using this strat, I credit myself as to being the first to use it, I would say it gives me a 60:1 win to loss ratio honestly. And the loss is usally only when im backstabbed.. TERRAN = THE WORST RACE when you only use half their ability, TERRAN = THE BEST RACE when you use their full ability. If everyone was a good terran player, Blizzard would be on their knees rebalancing the game. Thankyou for your time.
